The Japanese golf club manufacturer Fujimoto Golf is only known to a few golfers, but it enjoys a good reputation among experts. The club makers of Fujimoto Golf practice their blacksmithing craft in the tradition of making samurai swords. They use steel that is treated several times to deliver the best performance a player expects from high quality irons.

Fujimoto Golf is a family business founded in Japan in 1960. The irons are still traditionally made by hand. In this case, the forging technique can be described as the art of forging, because the irons are heated several times using a specific technique to improve the quality significantly. The multiple heat treatment optimizes the structure of the steel, so that the player then holds an iron in his hand that gives him an extraordinary feeling at the moment of impact. The iron goes – as they say – like a hot knife through butter. A rich sound, direct feedback and exceptional performance.

The Fujimoto irons GI-3 and GI-4 are so-called hollow irons, which have a low centre of gravity and therefore produce a higher ball flight. These irons are among the most forgiving irons of the brand. The Fujimoto TA-2 iron is a cavity back iron and the TA-3 a classic muscle back blade. In other words: every player type will find the right iron for him in this range of clubs. Depending on the player type, the clubs can be manufactured in different weights. This is no longer possible with almost all brands of clubs. A club fitting is therefore recommended. On request, all shafts can be installed, which the player chooses or which are recommended after a fitting.

The high-quality Fujimoto irons can be made to measure down to the last detail, so that the player gets the irons that are perfect for his game tailored to his body. On request, a set of clubs can also be individually assembled as a combination of TA-2 and TA-3 irons.

The prices for irons from Fujimoto Golf

GI-3 and GI-4: from € 279,- per iron with steel shaft
GI-3 and GI-4: from € 349,- per iron with graphite shaft

TA-2 and TA-3: from € 239,- per iron with steel shaft
TA-2 and TA-3: from € 319,- per iron with graphite shaft

The new Fujimoto irons (3 – PW, AW) are available in different specifications. They are available in Chrome and Black Copper finish. Steel and carbon shafts of all common manufacturers are used. On request, high-tech shafts from Seven Dreamers, Graphite Design, Mitsubishi or Aerotech can also be fitted in different specifications. A racket fitting is therefore highly recommended.

Classic Club Repair distributes Fujimoto Golf irons in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Switzerland.
